Introduction

Happy Paws (“We”, “us”) operates, hosts and manages an e-commerce platform for customers (the “Service”), which includes the website located at www.paws.cy (the “Website”).

This Privacy Statement/Policy (the “Policy”) describes our practices for the collection and use of information we may collect from you in connection with your use of the Service. It does not apply to information collected by us offline or through any other means, including on any other website operated by us or any third party.

Who Are The Recipients of your Personal Data

Recipients of Personal Data include the following:

• to contractors, service providers and other third parties we use to support our business and who are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them;

• people or entities to which you have instructed us to disclose your Personal Data

• with your consent.

How We Transfer your Personal Data

If there is a need for Happy Paws to send your Personal Data to a country that is not in the EEA, such transfer will only take place if the European Data Protection Standards are complied with, and appropriate safeguards are put in place in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the Protection of Natural Persons with Regard to the Processing of Personal Data and on the Free Movement of Such Data [General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”)].

According to GDPR, you have the following rights that you can exercise free of charge:

a) right of access – You have a right to request a copy of the Personal Data we hold, and be informed on how it has been processed.

b) right to rectification - If you believe any of the Personal Data, we hold about you is incorrect or inaccurate, you can request that we update it.

c) right to erasure - In some circumstances, such as where we no longer have a justifiable reason to continue to process your data, you can request we delete it.

d) right to restriction of processing – You have the right to request the restriction of processing of your Personal Data where the accuracy of the data is contested, when you consider the processing as unlawful but you do not wish the erasure of your data, when data are no longer needed for the purpose of processing but they are required by you for possible legal claims or when you have objected the processing pursuant to article 21(1) of GDPR.

e) right to data portability - You have the right to receive the Personal Data which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit those data to a third party.

f) right to object - Where we are processing your Personal Data for the purposes of direct marketing, or any legitimate interests, you can object at any time to this processing.

Please note that if your Personal Data has been provided to Happy Paws by a third party you should contact that organization or individual to make such queries and/or complaints.

If you have a complaint, you can contact us.
